The Museum's Own Route

The museum sells its own tickets directly at muzeumkrakowa.pl (60 PLN; free on Mondays, sold at the door on the day) and runs its own English-language tours from Tuesday to Sunday, so a guided tour is a choice, not a requirement.

Before you book

The Factory museum entry is included and listed as self-guided; one traveller has reported a guided, over-large group there instead, and it is not clear whether this leg pre-books a specific entry slot.
Auschwitz-Birkenau now requires every visitor to book a timed slot in advance; there is no walk-up, skip-the-line option there any more.
Pickup is from the Radisson Blu Hotel Krakow (Tourist Bus Stop); the day runs about 8 hours door to door, with roughly 3.5 hours guided at Auschwitz-Birkenau and 1.5 hours at the Factory at the end.
If this day lands on the first Tuesday of the month, the Factory is closed; check the date before booking.
